EARTH DAY NORTH COUNTY 2026 — Webinar  🌎

Wednesday, March 18, 6:30–7:30pm


Join a short Zoom session for a preview of Earth Day 2026 in North County. Our Climate Change Director, Rachel Heussenstamm, has gathered a terrific lineup of speakers — including a local farmer from the botanical gardens and an Oceanside Sierra Club volunteer — to share their work and upcoming Earth Day events. You’ll also receive a calendar of city‑sponsored activities, with Escondido and Carlsbad leading the way with nature walks, clean‑ups, and more.

Hosted by our Voter Service teams, this session covers everything from voter registration and youth outreach to candidate forums and ballot proposition Pros & Cons. Come learn how you can strengthen democracy at the local level and empower North County voters.

This is our annual Program Planning meeting for the upcoming year .During the meeting we will  review the Unit's 2025-2026 Program ( of work) which includes  the Unit's positions and last year's goals (our Issues for Emphasis for Education & Advocacy..) 

We will then come to consensus on the Unit's Program of work for 2026-2027.

A nationwide day of peaceful, nonviolent demonstrations will take place on Saturday, March 28, with multiple events across San Diego County. All No Kings actions emphasize lawful, de‑escalatory, nonviolent participation and a strong commitment to community safety.
 
📍   SAN DIEGO — Waterfront Park 📍
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: 1600 Pacific Hwy, San Diego, CA 92101
This is the central San Diego gathering, beginning at Waterfront Park.

Accessibility:
An alternate, family‑friendly and mobility‑accessible support location will be available at Ruocco Park (585 Harbor Ln) for those who prefer to sit or need a shorter distance.
