As a board member of LWVNCSD, I’m proud to say that our 2024 National Convention changed my life as a leader and activist — but I couldn't have done it without the support of our League, which paid some of my expenses, while my family paid the rest. Too many League members can’t afford to go to Convention due to financial barriers. That’s why I’m fundraising so we can provide scholarships to passionate advocates from our League to attend.
